Varyn is most likely to be the main enemy of Hytale because of 2 pictures a concept art in which a diamond shape is Varyn/The Evil and then the wall paper that has a green guy with tentacles and diamond shapes all over his body. And so that makes him "The Evil" Hytale producers actually confirmed this theory. So all in all Varyn is an evil guy with god like powers that is corrupting all things good.
