Do I have access to a working microphone? I do not, no. I am planning on buying a microphone in the future so you can hear me talk.
Do you have the ability to record videos on our site? I can record videos as I have had much practice through-out my many years in high-school. I've done many videos on my old YouTube channels, that's it.
Are you multilingual? I can only speak English so no. I am learning French & Spanish so it'll take time.
Do I actively use the forums? I started using the forums early yesterday. I like it here because I can share my interests with other people and have no one say otherwise with my opinions. I've been on for 5 hours yesterday and around 8-9 hours today so I will be trying to keep those numbers up through-out my time here.
How much time do I have to contribute to the role per-day? I will contribute between 3-10 hours per day. It might be more if I am feeling it. If I have to study, it could be between 3-4 hours at max.
Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? I have never been punished at all. I have only been punished for things that I've not done.
SCENARIO: Suppose it's your first week of being a helper and you mute a well-known user on our discord. Their guildmates start spamming your direct messages on discord, calling you a bad helper and telling you to unmute them. What would you do? I will contact them to stop doing what they're doing because they're treating me unfairly. If they carry on doing it, I will file a complaint towards the guild. I will send screenshots, videos and more to the staff members showing proof about what they had done. I will block my DMs for a week or so so they can calm down a bit. If they carry on doing so, there will be mutes & bans used in this situation.
Tell us about one of the best moments on the Hytale Hub: When I did my first forum post, people welcoming me to the community made me feel comfortable with my surroundings. It makes me feel like I am apart of the community which is an amazing feeling! Another good moment was when I started making speculations on the release date of Hytale. I got loads of messages of people's ideas which made me feel amazed at how people feel about this. Another good moment was when I made a group on Hytale Hub, I have so many creative ideas coming through my head and I had an amazing feeling!
Tell us about a time you made a mistake within last year? How did you deal with it? What did you learn? One mistake I did was when I accidentally banned someone from my server when they did nothing wrong, I banned the wrong player. I unbanned them and said sorry to them and had a little chat with the person I meant to ban. I learned that I should remember to be careful who I ban.
If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Minecraft, Hytale? I love doing art, one of my favourite subjects in school. I also love being creative with what I do and coming up with ideas to shape things is a great feeling!
Do you have any previous server moderation or leadership experience? If so explain what role you played, what skills/experiences you picked up and how this will help you in your role as a helper. I have moderated on my own server which is now deleted. I helped people with basic coding/anything that they need help with. I had a fun time at my server and I wish I never deleted it.
SCENARIO: "You come home from school/work and have a ton of homework/work to do, you think to yourself I'll just take a 5-minute break before I start and get on our forums. The next thing you know 2 hours have passed and you've been on the forums moderating all that time." What'd you do in this scenario?
I will try to motivate myself to do the homework at a particular time (For example: 6 PM). When the time comes for doing so, I could still open up the chat while doing the homework, something like doing 2 things at once.
SCENARIO: You're busy on our forums website as a helper, questions are flying at you rapidly, you can just about keep up. You're getting messaged by 2 different players both asking you to get them a moderator for a rule breaker, someone then pokes you on Discord telling you that there is someone blasting music in their channel. What do you do? I will sort out one thing and tell another helper/staff member that they can do another thing. I will try my best to help out with anything that needs doing so I will make sure that whatever needs putting gets done. When I have dealt with the person messing with the music, I will start helping out with the forums again.
SCENARIO: You're in the middle of the day, watching over the forums and discord for any issues, after 5 mins you find out that your best friend is Staff member and he broke a rule and spoke poorly to a user who also broke a rule, the staff member exaggerates his/her punishment and threatens/bribes you to not at all disclose what you witnessed with anyone, what'd you do? I will privately message the owners to see what they think I should do. Whatever they say, I will do as I think that that's the right thing to do. Even if they break a rule, it's still there for us staff members to follow.
Anything else we should know? I just wanted to thank you for letting me have a chance to apply, not many servers let me do this so I thank you for that. Also, I don't mind if you decline this application, it's been a good opportunity after all.
