hello. I wanted to say, that there is way too many ratings.
I will explain what I mean.
So let's take a look at the available ratings.
The ratings I would keep: Like, Funny, Dislike, Disagree, Agree, Angry, "woah" emoj, Useful
The ratings that are useless in my opinion:
(happy) ratingcan just be replaced by Like/Agree emoji. It just spreads confusion.
The
(poker face) rating has no meaning, it's not really certain what this rating represents.
The
(yellow angry) rating doesn't have a reason to exist, because it is just a recoloured version of the angry rating. I wouldn't see a situation where you would need to use this rating in any specific situation.
(informative) is literally just another icon for "useful" rating.
(heart) rating is just literally Like but with another icon. Why ?
These three I put them together. (Boring, Old and Spelling Mistake) ratings.
Boring: Dislike rating exists for this. Also boring rating posts don't deserve a special ratings, since people just basically tend to ignore them.
Old: What's the point of this ? Just to mark threads marked as "old" you can just "archieve" old threads if they are considered necro post, like they do on reddit where you can no longer post on the thread.
Spelling Mistake: Spalling orrors are pretty cmmon on the enternet, most peoples tend to not care about spelling errors. Some people are also not emglish and it can be pretty rude to use this, after all this is a website about a block game , not a english learning website.
Some other feedback on ratings:
(funny) rating needs more tears. It is a little bit hard to see the one singular tear and looks quire weird. I would make it 2-4 tears, and maybe make them bigger too.
(medal) rating should only be accessibly to very few, very well known players with a lot of messages / ratings on the forums. The reason to that is because the medal rating is basically just like/agree rating. But since everyone can use it, it doesnt have that much value. And a medal rating in my opinion is supposed to be semi-hard to earn, so if a very respected / famous person on these forums likes your thread, they will give you the medal rating.
