I was looking at screenshots for my next blogpost and has anyone questioned this floating carrot in the background?

I'd say it's suppose to be connected to that rope above it, to act as bait in a trap (probably hinted at by the dead and disturbed foliage underneath), but the connection between the rope and the carrot block wasn't finalised.

I wonder if they have fixed it. Just kind of weird and something you would see out of a game like Minecraft

Yes, like a block floating above a carpet block.

I'm sure they would have, but even if they hadn't, once the game released, I'm sure someone would be able to easily.
