This is my first time making an actual model from scratch and I have decided to make a weapon for Hytale.
Here's how I made it:

I made the model with Blender and edit the texture using Krita. I tried to make it as closely Hytale-themed as possible (mainly the handle size, based on the model maker video, the sword has a handle of 5 pixels in diameter.) and I'm kinda satisfied with how it turned out.
Now I can't find a good name for it.
What should I call this weapon?
Here's how I made it:
- First of all, I placed a number of blocks, trying to get the right shape. Then I draw a rough shape of the weapon.
- Next, I place more blocks to accommodate the shape.
- Then I edit the UVs for texture mapping.
- After that, I created an empty image and colour the shapes for editing purposes.
- I then edit the image to get the shape of the sword.
- After coloring the texture, I then add some shading and detailing and also do some minor editing to get the model to the right shape and proportions.
