Running away is an import part of combat and it would be a shame if Hytale didn't allow for it at the start. It could be that instead of specific abilities for getting away, you might just have to use unusual means like placing blocks.

Each weapon has only a few attacks in it's repertoire so it is probably the same with magic devices like staves and tomes. I do wonder if magic would be more versatile than other weapons.

I'm something of a worldbox player myself! Good game for a platform with few good games.

Hmm... So kind of like a cycle? That would set up the lore well as Nexus is the next "phase" of the planet Orbis prophesying that Vayrn will come again. Of course the Dev's have said that the players arrive in some "cosmic event". Maybe our job is to upset this cycle the planet is in.

Although I hope there will be an easy way to switch between skins/avatars because I might make several depending on the occasion, I think I will make a dwarf avatar for my single player worlds.

I love the utility of the Cloud casters idea. When I think Hytale and magic, I definitely want a majority of the spells to have some out-of-combat use other than the normal damage dealing kind, even if it's a simple as a fireball spell that also sets trees on fire. I am thinking a water walk...

December 2019 the Hytale team released a Yule log with an OST piece called "Old Craft". Despite this, I have never heard of this piece until just now and the video is currently unlisted on the Hytale channel. Credit to HeinzGaming1 for bringing this to light recently

Planetside 2 is a great game (Haven't played the first) it just takes some getting used to. Civ 6 is ok, but It's my opinion that it doesn't improve much for being a sequel. It's graphics devolved from civ 5, religious victory makes little sense, wars and unit balancing are completely different...
