Hytale Roleplay

Hytale is going to be one of the biggest roleplay communities on the internet.

From what we've seen thus far from the Hytale Studios team, the sheer flexibility of Hytale as a multiplayer platform is staggering, far exceeding that of its predecessors. Minecraft as a platform allowed for a sandbox roleplaying experience, leveriging the sandbox nature of building, PvP and chat to create a solid 24/7 roleplaying experience, simulating great empires and nations all the way down to the interactions of a family unit.

With mods, the experience could be made better, but still face several "hard" restrictions, much like Hypixel did in the development of their minigames. Hytale introduces a wide variety of features that promotes roleplay:

• Custom modelling, allowing the creation of unique weapons, armor, clothing & mobs that can be sold by players to other players/used in events, given the proper server setup.
• Smoother animations, better textures, and a full customisation of building in a way that surpasses resource packs.
• A better combat system (presumably) that'll make fighting better for all players.
• Better optimisation that'll permit more players to participate in combat - wars can now be properly played out without lag, giant sieges can be scripted and acted, raids can be properly configured etc.
• A built-in scripting system and ideally extensive API to customise the roleplaying experience without relying on 3rd party modifications like Spigot.

Membership of this group is intended to create opportunities for quality roleplay in Hytale.
