Question Why are they holding the release date from us?

Why hello there!

I don’t think anyone is ignoring the facts. The trailer views are decreasing. The buzz about the game is dying down. People are getting impatient. The crabs are dancing on the beach.

Why is all of this happening? The release date hasn’t been... uh, released.

But why? Why would they hold this back and not just put it at the end of the trailer like most games? Or at least in some blog post up until now? The reason for this isn’t so crystal clear.

My assumption is to hold suspense or something, but I’m not so sure if that’s having positive repercussions (hence the facts above)...

I don't know, i mean they are going to the GDC to talk about Hytale and it's the biggest game dev conference ever so i think they still have a chance to survive

I think they are waiting for the summer when most players will be away from school and will have more time to play, that's my opinion

It's a fair point you raise - I think they will tell us the date a lot closer to the time. I reckon they have an estimated date of completion but it isn't confirmed yet; Hypixel wants to give us a brilliant game and we can all agree that will take a lot of time to make

The true answer is they don't have one according to the blogs and stuff they will release the game "when it's ready" as that point gets closer and clearer they will start advertising again until that point they will be focusing all their energy into developing the game for now all we can do is wait and keep the hype alive within ourselves and each other. Patience is a virtue, friends.
