We understand that this sudden lifestyle change is somewhat stressful and frustrating for many of you guys, so to help you cope, we're going to be giving away permanent MASTER ranks/roles to give you all increased abilities here at HytaleHub.com. While this is ultimately only a small little gesture, we want everyone to understand that we're all in this together, and that we want to do everything we can to accommodate anyone and everyone within the space who is having trouble coping with the current situation right now.

Forgive me for coming off as rude, but what's the point of this? What benefits come out of a Master rank and why should anyone actually care? Didn't you just remove purchasable upgrades a month ago? If the Master rank is included in that, why does it have any value to us? If the Master rank isn't included in that, why not? And why do you need to give away digital forum ranks to show that you care about people during a crisis?

The option to "purchase" a rank at HytaleHub.com was in fact disabled. We stated in that same announcement a while ago that we would still keep these ranks, but that they would become freely available through contests, giveaways, etc. in order to allow users who had previously purchased or otherwise obtained these ranks to retain their perks and abilities.

I think you may be drawing preconceptions, but nevertheless, appreciate your concern. I can assure you that there are no malignant intentions behind the giving away of free ranks here at HytaleHub.com.

It's not necessarily bad, just extremely strange considering you made an announcement stating the exact contrary and are doing so now. I can understand keeping the page itself up to explain the benefits of each rank, but again, you can still pay for all of them. Do you just refund every payment that comes your way? What happens if someone didn't see the announcement and just pays for a rank like normal, because there are no warnings or anything to stop them? It's just confusing and I fail to consider the reasons behind all this.

The page primarily exists as a reference for the perks associated with each corresponding rank. You might have noticed however that links to that page were removed from the footer, as well as the header and various other areas of HytaleHub.com. It's true that you can technically still transact a purchase, but the ability to do that will be removed shortly. We've simply been really caught up with other tasks lately and haven't gotten around to it yet.

There has been no need to refund any payments since our previous announcement, since no payments have been made since then, primarily due to the fact that it's extremely difficult to locate that page to begin with now that it's been taken out of the limelight.
