I had a lot of fun scripting weapons for Unreal Tournament, back then. If spells and weapon effects are scriptable in Hytale, that would be really cool. :)

I don't know if the the server tech merit's a limit on the landscape. But if you talk about factions, then the server could enforce some rules to make faction-war more interesting and ongoing. If you think about an adventure-style server, the operators could also jump in and spice things up...

Guess it really depends what's in the core. ;)

Afaik, the Hytale Team stated that the client will not be modable, only the server will be able to install/manage the mods used. A handshake is made upon connecting the client to the server and all files needed by the client will be transfered. This enables some pretty strong anti-cheat system...
